东南亚永远不缺少旖旎多姿的自然风光和独具特色的人文风情，泰国，这个拥有众多会奖旅游目的地城市的国家，因为一部电影《泰囧》再次吸引中国客户的关注。

4月23日，泰国会议展览局（Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau，简称TCEB）在北京举行会议产业推介会，泰王国驻华公使Ureerat Ratanaprukse、泰国会议展览局（TCEB）会议产业部主任Vichaya Soonthornsaratoon出席推介会。本次推广活动邀请了中国国内多家行业协会的会议负责人参加，涉及医药、电子工程、城市资源、绿色食品等多个领域，目的是为了向国内的协会推介泰国的会议目的地城市及资源。
泰国MICE产业持续发展，2008年前往泰国开展MICE活动的人数为631,539，会奖旅游收入达到39.471百万泰铢，而根据预测2013年泰国将共接待MICE人数为840，000，而会奖旅游收入则达到67,200百万泰铢，接待人数及收入均呈现增长态势。中国是泰国重要的客源地之一，基于中国近期强劲的经济表现，加上泰国作为商务和休闲旅游目的地，富有竞争力和独特的吸引力，泰国会展局预计从中国前往泰国的MICE游客将增加。自从中国成为东盟重要的合作伙伴后，中国与东盟的往来更为密切，这对中国的高端旅游产业有着很大的帮助。除了北京、上海，还有很多新兴的城市，如，成都、武汉、苏州。这些城市的高端旅游产业会迅速发展，对泰国会展局来说也很希望吸引更多这些城市的高端旅游者。
泰国会议展览局，英文全称为Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau，简称为TCEB。其作为泰国政府专门推广MICE的政府机构，致力于推广和发展泰国的MICE产业。而此次TCEB会议产业部除了推介曼谷、芭提雅等已经非常著名的城市之外，还特别推介了近期比较受欢迎的清迈，作为新兴的会议和会奖旅游目的地，清迈正逐渐凭借其原生态的民风和诸多资源优势，成为越来越多社团、企业等会议组织者的首选办会城市。泰国会议展览局（TCEB）会议产业部主任Vichaya Soonthornsaratoon表示，希望越来越多的中国企业、社团了解泰国，能够把会议或者会奖旅游活动办到泰国，她也强调，TCEB将尽可能为中国的会议组织者提供更多帮助和服务。
对于中国的会议组织者来说，泰国拥有众多优势：更加便捷的行程。泰国对于全球来说，都是一个非常理想的目的地城市，从美国纽约到达泰国曼谷只需要13个小时，从伦敦到到曼谷只需要10个小时，对于亚洲国家来说，行程更加方便，从中国北京只需要5个多小时就可以到达曼谷，非常快捷；快速通关政策。41个国家的居民免签，另外有21个国家可以落地签，除此之外，TCEB与泰国政府机构提供签证帮助，可以提供办理出入境手续的快速通道；更加现代化基础建设，泰国主要城市的公共设施及交通方便，而且其空中交通发达，可以从泰国曼谷乘飞机到达其他城市；更具发展潜力的市场。作为东盟的经济中心，泰国的市场更加具有潜力，在未来，随着中国—东盟自贸区的发展成熟，选择在泰国举办会议、会奖旅游将是非常明智的选择。■
Thailand, the best meeting destination for you

he Southeast Asia never fails to fascinate the people all around the world, for its beautiful scenery and the unique culture & social customs. Thailand is home to a wealth of MICE destination cities, which attract Chinese clients again because of the movie Lost in Thailand. On April 23 2013, Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB for short) held a road show on convention industry in Beijing. Ms. Ureerat Ratanaprukse, Minister in China and Ms. Vichaya Soonthornsaratoon, Director of TCEB Meetings Industry Department, attended the show. Most guests were directors from domestic associations specialized in various fields like medical, electronic engineering, city resources, green food and so on. The purpose was to promote Thailand's conference destination cities and resources to domestic Associations.
With the development of Thailand MICE Industry, 631,539 people have been to Thailand for MICE in 2008 and the revenue generated by this industry was 39,471 million baht. According to a projection, 840,000 people will be received by Thailand for MICE in 2013 with a revenue of 67,200 million baht, presenting a growing trend. TCEB forecast an increase of MICE from China, for China has witnessed a robust economy recently and it is one of the core clients provider, meanwhile Thailand itself is a competitive and charming place for business and leisure traveling. Since China is a partner of ASEAN, the ties and contact between China and ASEAN will become much more strengthened and this will further the growth of Chinese MICE segment. In addition to Beijing and Shanghai, there are a lot of emerging metropolises in all regions of China, for example, Chengdu, Wuhan and Suzhou, which will be growth force for MICE segment in Thailand. TCEB anticipated that MICE travelers from those metropolises will flow into Thailand in the future.
Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau or TCEB for short. TCEB, a Thailand government in promoting MICE, is devoted to promoting and developing Thailand MICE Industry. Besides Bangkok, Pattaya and other famous cities, Chiang Mai as a well-received city was brought to the fore during the interview. Chiang Mai is a boomtown of meetings and MICE destination, which is becoming the best choice for more and more associations, enterprises and PCOs for its unique custom and rich resources. Ms. Vichaya Soonthornsaratoon, the Director of Meetings Industry Department, hoped that more and more Chinese enterprises and associations could learn more about Thailand and hold meetings or incentives in Thailand. She emphasized that, TCEB will provide all kinds of assistance and support to Chinese conference organizers.
For Chinese conference organizers, Thailand boasts abundant superiorities, especially the convenient transportation. Thailand is an ideal destination city for global. For example, it takes 13 hours from New York to Bangkok, from 10 hours from London to Bangkok. Furthermore, it is much more convenient for Asian countries because it only takes 5 hours from Beijing to Bangkok and express custom clearance. Besides visa-free for 41 countries and landing visa for 21 countries, TCEB and Thailand Government will provide visa assistance and the express custom clearance of entry and exit procedures for foreigners. The much more modern infrastructure, the traffic and communal facilities of main cities in Thailand are convenient. Moreover, you could leave by plane from Bangkok for other cities, for the air traffic is developed. Thailand, as the economic center of ASEAN, has more potential to offer for the MICE industry. In the future, it will be a wise choice to hold MICE activities in Thailand with a mature development between China and ASEAN. ■
