About CMIC2014?


China Meetings Industry Convention (CMIC),initiated by MeetingsChina Magazine, and hosted by Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development (BMCTD) and China Convention and Exhibition Society (CCES), is the most significant and influential annual event and communication platform in China MICE industry. CMIC is annually held in China National Convention Center (CNCC) by the end of every year, CMIC2014 is the 7th sessions.

CMIC2014 has been held in CNCC on December 2nd-4th of 2014 with the theme of “Mobile, makes MICE be more charming”. During the two and half days, there are about 50 events, which cover each step of the meeting industry chain, and also analyze the future development of China meetings industry from various aspects.


Creative Buyer Composition Model

There are about 3,000 attendees on CMIC2014, 2,500 are MICE firms and MICE planners and buyers from corporations and associations. CMIC2014 is the session with most number of hosted buyer, the 500 hosted buyers have brought more than 2,500 MICE projects. On the other hand, by the planning and organizing of MPC-China (MICE Purchasing Committee-China), many high-level buyers from fortune 500 corporations and key companies have also come to CMIC2014 to look for business partners.

 


Mobile Internet Leads MICE New Model

With the theme of “Mobile, makes MICE be more charming”, CMIC2014 not only sets many relevant events, but also add more internet elements on the whole planning and operation process to present different style. CMIC2014 breaks through traditional speaker invitation custom and increases more speakers from internet and big data background in opening ceremony and various forums, which brings more inspiration to MICE industry from the aspect of big data and technology and also leads more MICE professionals to view the industry development in internet thinking. At the same time, to spread internet marketing experience to traditional MICE corporations, CMIC2014 specially organizes internet marketing forum to guide the MICE industry to transfer to online fast and healthily.

 

In addition, CMIC2014 also specially organizes some professional buyer purchasing training and events of MICE organizing and operation to ensure all buyers not only have face-to-face communication opportunity with good suppliers but also learn more professional knowledge about MICE operation. We have used internet technology to collect and analyze data in the whole operation and management of CMIC2014, and WeChat is also used to do the live broadcast of CMIC2014 opening ceremony.
