CMIC 2012: New Claims for Conferences: Green and Environmental Protection

A large-scale company or organization not only markets to the world not its products or various services, but values. Just as Mr. Philip Kotler, father of modern marketing, once put it, “The best way to communicate good will is to blend good deeds with the culture of your enterprise/organization and always keep promises, which shall be your consistent mission, long-coveted wish, and abiding values.” At present time, the whole world has entered a time when values push forward brands, based on which people are striving to find out those best combinations of sense of responsibility, future planning and values. They hope to quench thirst for heartiest needs for solving problems regarding society, economics, and environment through those companies and associations.

To inspire the awareness of green & environmental protection is the basis on which we’re able to participate personally in conveying good wills and taking social responsibilities. In order to prompt China’s meetings industry to make active contributions to the environmental protection cause so as to raise its industrial value concept, and to help China’s meetings industry to enhance competitiveness in the future development so as to strengthen its influence in socioeconomic development scenario. And CMIC 2012 masterminded a special program—Guideline for China’s Green Conferences, in hopes of publicizing the notion of green meetings.

At the convention, 12 sponsors jointly initiated the opening ceremony of “Appeal for China Green Conferences”, and also declared a green conference of public interest in Alashan, May, 2013. Being the ambassador of China Green Fund, Mr. Jin Bo (Singer) and Li Fang (Painter) also attended at the evening banquet, with the former singing a song for all participants and the latter donating a painting to the CMIC 2012 Committee.

People responsible for the CMIC 2012 Committee held that “The green notion is a never-fading topic. CMIC should also develop in such a green and environmental-protection way. ”
